A NICE Fig Smoothie
Our lady friends over at Nice Paper know that smoothies are a FIG mood. Whether it’s a breakfast substitute or a post-workout snack, smoothies are easy to make and make a nutritious snack or meal any time of day.
For this recipe, figs are in the key ingredient! Because they are packed with enough natural sugars, there’s no need to add any sweeteners (fake, natural or otherwise) making them the perfect low-sugar treat. Additionally, figs are jam-packed with magnesium, potassium, calcium, iron, copper and plenty of antioxidants! Whewww, isn’t that nice?
Check out the recipe below that they paired with their LEVO and don’t forget to follow Nice Papers for all things nice about your favorite flower.
4 fresh figs
1 cup almond milk (or any non-dairy milk)
1/2 of a banana
1 tablespoon of almond butter or 1 tablespoon of chocolate powdered peanut butter
2 teaspoons LEVO flower-infused coconut oil
- Place all ingredients into a blender and liquify
- Optional: If you’re in the mood for something sweeter, feel free to replace the tablespoon of almond butter with a tablespoon of chocolate powdered peanut butter. It tastes like pureed nutella which, predictably, is delightful.
We recommend having a jar of infused coconut oil in the fridge at all times. It’s so versatile!
